Parents, educators and service professionals gained an in-depth understanding of the treasure trove of materials contained in BE SAFE Teaching Edition. Texas SB30, the Community Safety Act, mandates that students learn how to interact safely with the police.  We explored the advantages of using BE SAFE as supplemental material to teach critical safety skills. Many thanks to Dr. Terri McGinnis for bringing us in! We look forward to working with more school districts in ESC Region One.
